This painting seems at first sight to consist of a jumble of bright colors and fanciful abstract forms. Only after that do you realize that it shows a slope with tree trunks and roots. These are trees used for timber, growing in a marl quarry. The work was not entirely completed. That explains its unfinished appearance. It is probably Van Gogh's very last painting. Andries Bonger, the brother-in-law of Vincent's brother Theo, described it in a letter: 'The morning before his death, he had painted a sous-bois [forest scene], full of sun and life.'

★★★★★Debra L.These earrings are exactly what I was looking for! I have Queen Puabi's replica necklace from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and they are a perfect match! The earrings are well made and comfortable, and look contemporary or ancient. Very versatile!
★★★★★Jess B.I had purchased the same scarab earrings from a museum shop after visiting an Egyptian special exhibit and loved them. I lost one and was so thrilled to be able to find the same earrings again to replace it. They are exactly what I hoped they would be.
★★★★★Jonathan B.Awestruck when I received the earrings the quality and design is very high end non-stop compliments! Classic. Classy. Timeless.
